Lake Compounce in collaboration with Great Coasters International continues work in improving Boulder Dash by making it a smoother ride with fresh new Titan Track. An additional 550 feet of track has been installed on the mountainside layout bringing the total amount laid out to approximately 1,700 feet. Be sure to be there May 9th to take a ride on it on opening day!

I wonder what this does to the overall pacing of per element speeds of the units if large segments are replaced.

The wood supports flex, and the wood track bed could flex, but the steel track wont even if the structure yields a bit.

There is not as much elasticity there.
