^I second. Love the interaction between the people who enter and F325; great placement on Carowind's part

That dive underneath the path should be an interesting headchopper. I do wonder how long it will take, before a huge fence is going to be put there, to avoid people dropping items onto the track/train.

They could probably get away with netting above the track in lieu of fences, which I think is quite likely to happen this year if not before opening.

Gatekeeper has no netting under its dive loop and that is easily walked under until you get to the low zone fence.

That may be true but it's not the focal point that Fury's dive is, nor is it recessed beneath a major artery into the park. I'm kind of surprised that it appears the entire entrance area is getting sod, lol that's a ton of grass to roll out. It's awesome though, it'll make everything look finished.

Carowinds recently posted this YouTube video with off-ride footage of test runs. Is it just me, or does it seem like it's going a little slower than in previous videos?

^^ It might just be the maintenance team switching out some of the "test" wheels for the actual ones, and the actual ones have to get "broken in" a bit. I'm sure it will be back up to full speed soon.

Also, you have no idea if that footage was shot on the 2nd day of testing, or the 10th. Could make a huge difference.

^Interesting that you brought that up.

Generally, every B&M has a few representatives start with the ride to make sure everything is working as designed. I know this cause of Gatekeeper in 2013. We had a program-er and someone who handled EVERYTHING else. The program-er left about 2 weeks into the season. While the other guy stayed for about a month. They're there to send the first train and they decided the wheels and weight blocks that go on the trains.

It paces notably faster with water dummies, but I'm guessing they didn't film testing with dummies for aesthetic reasons. Still, my expectations for this coaster have been exceeded. I'm stoked to ride (now I just need to scrape together some dough to get there).

Wow, Fury's entrance also looks like one chemical reaction image! Fury as noun + Furious as adjective = Fury 325! 325... representing the height of that furious layout! :)

"500" perhaps by the end of this year.

It amazes me how fast this ride was constructed. Media day is in 4 days!

Site work started about a year ago, but it's crazy that it went vertical in late September. B&Ms go up fast.

^It does seem that B&M's go up really quickly. Thunderbird was done in no time, and so was F325, as well as Barron 1898. B&M is really efficient.
