Rougarou's retractable floor is now in place.

^ I hope not. I haven't seen a new Floorless coaster built near me in years, but knowing Cedar Point and how they have no horns on any rides, I'd hope and assume no.

Those aren't the trains Maverick is getting, just the similar restraints. Maverick is not becoming a spinning coaster .

You didn't answer my question. Where did you hear that piece of information? Where is a source I can read for myself?

Sorry about that. It has been posted on a lot of coaster-related Facebook and Twitter pages (that restraint picture was from Cedar Point News). Haven't seen anything official from the park yet.

I really hope it is true, then, and Cedar Point posts something official about it. It would be an excellent upgrade for that coaster.

That would be so insane if Maverick became a spinning coaster like Tornado. That would be THE most intense coaster I can think off!

It's all true, it was announced at Winter Chill-out today. Maverick will be getting the I305 restraints, hopefully that means we'll see more intamin's in the future. They also announced a Wicked Twister midway revamp with Dodgem's being moved along with Calypso which will be renamed Tiki Twirl.

Good Time Theater, Antique Cars, and sir rubadub's tub's have all been removed/are being removed. That strongly supports the dive coaster rumor. Also, During a slideshow they teased RMC with a picture of Outlaw Run being flipped past for a second and they said "Whoops how did that get here" at the end when questions where asked they said "I don't know what your talking about". So possible RMC coming soon too!

Good. SCREW SIR RUB-A-DUBS TUBS! LOVE the new train colors, and I'm glad they're revamping the Maverick restraints. A major complaint among guests was that Maverick was starting to get a bit rough last year. I think it would be to their advantage to move Blue Streak's entrance to the midway so that the area isn't a gigantic dead end.

Are they killing the kiddie dodgems for regular Dodgems?

Also I seriously doubt they'll buy an RMC if their management would not shut up ever about the hamplanet that got ejected from it.

I know I shouldn't find that funny, but I honestly lost it at hamplanet.

If they're moving Calypso and demoing the cars, they are clearing a path. That's right near the good time theater. We have no idea what's really up their sleeves, but they are clearly making room for something.
