Comet Is A Landmark

Today, The Comet was officially declared a historic landmark. ACE was there today before hours to dedicate the ride, and there was a monster line immediatly following opening. Im glad this finally happened, the ride is very old and considered a Six Flags Classic. If your in Lake George, be sure to check it out.

The Comet originally was at Crystal Beach in Ontario, Canada. It was built from the Cyclone, which was considered the grandaddy of wooden coasters. After being auctioned away to The Great Escape, it reopened with new trains, and has been open ever since. It is an amazing coaster, and should definitly come ride it.
