I think the restrictions are too tight. There's been 3 entries, and 1 has been disqualified for some stupid thing about supports. There's only so much you can do in such a small area. If it was a different type of coaster, such as a twister or something, then things would be different (cos you can pull up vertically). But in this template, you're restricted and can't get as much airtime. I reckon if the coaster was allowed to have 5 or 6 bench trains, then better coasters could be made.

Very difficult challenge. If I can do it, anyone here can too. The support issue was very tricky, but I asked questions, earlier here in the post that vaguely point out where they can't go. Very hard to get air time, yes. I only got 2 spots of airtime and 1 is going into the MCBR.

Go check out my entry(if you feel like(sorry the advertisement)), called Tetsu - The Experiment of Fear. Simple, to the point with minimal thrill.

I think Tetsu made the template highly difficult on purpose, since the prize is pretty dang awesome. Free RV, free park entry, buy a plane ticket and bring cash only, to me is f*&^ing cool. If the winner can't make it, at least you get some points, right?

Looks like 2 more entries, if dirk can finish in time.

The template was based on the footprint of a plot of land that was open for expansion. It was meant to be compact and it was meant to be a different type of challenge.

Also, if blatant disregard for the rules is stupid, what isnt?

^ i don't think luck is really a factor, based on the quality of all his other tracks. the only way anyone else can win is if his computor crashes at the last second. i can't wait to see the track.
Boulder Dash was the only good roller coaster.

lol...It's not over 200', so don't get your hopes up. I did try taller, but realized that increasing height also increased the size of the elements substantially, meaning a less dynamic track with fewer elements. I went somewhere in the middle of A113's track and huge, and I think it worked out pretty well. It was a pretty tight template, but I'd say I did my best with what we had to work with, so I'm happy with that.

But hey, we all had the same template...everyone has a fair chance of winning, so enter your work guys. I like competition :)

Big Bad Wolf had trim brakes on the biggest drop, and everyone enjoyed that for its other qualities. Just saying.

I have a ride that is a little over 200ft. The only problem i'm facing is the supporting issue. Soo many track in that box. I doubt i'll get it finished in before the new year...

Here are 2 editor screens in case people care:

And those screens are still in a state of not smoothed...
