Dueling/racing Intamin Woodie UPDATE 12/26/10

Hey

I have started building my Dueling/racing Intamin woodie that is going to be themed to Man Vs. Nature. I'm still looking for a name, so ideas would be helpful


I have just finished the first drop on the left track. I think shaping looks good, but tell me what you think. I would appreciate constructive criticism.

Jcoasters, what kind of dueling elements are you putting in this ride?

It will have hills where as one track goes up on a big air hill, the other goes on two small air hills and then they switch. it will also feature a dueling turnaround. Imagine the turnaround on El Toro, but each track goes a separate was and then the swarm at each other and go up. They will then go into a MCBR. After the MCBR, they will have several dueling sworming cris crossing nearly missing going over each-other low to the ground highly banked turns like the second Half of El Toro but with criss crossing air hills every few turns or something. Since you can control the time in Newton, I plan to contol when the swarm at each-other and that they finish at about the same time and stay together. I hope it will be good.

You should make man have the large airtime hills and look artificial like, but the nature side should be more close-to-ground, high-speed, twisted, and look imperfect.

What do you mean it's not Intamins's style? Picture the first part of El Toro as the basic idea for the "man" side and the second part of El Toro for the basic idea of the "nature" side... get what I'm saying?

yes but i want the second part of each track to have low to the ground turns swarming at each other. Maybe I'll make a second version with different tracks.

I'm pretty sure jcoasters is theming a ride to pretty rocks and shells...

Just because you study something doesn't mean you have to inject it into every conversation. What you said is irrelevant because he's not looking at or commenting on one specific and relatively minor aspect of nature.
