First looping rollercoaster?

I'm finally gaining an appetite for roller coasters, since I used to try to avoid them at all costs (motion sickness). But now that I'm older, and can handle things like this better I'm trying to figure out what a good starter looping coaster would be (I'm in the midwest). Thanks

Greezed Lightning at Kentucky Kingdom or Corkscrew at Cedar Point would be good firsts IMO (not sure what part of the midwest you're from).

Middle of Illinois, not much nearby...

I've been eyeing Maverick, but I don't have a reason to go as far as Sandusky

That may not be the best starter coaster. Maverick could be a bit too intense.

Demon at Great America perhaps.
