Jimmy M, a nerdy school boy from So Cal, is posting a topic on a forum about roller coasters.


June, 2015

Jimmy graduates with a 4.2 from High school and is accepted into SUNY Buffalo.


June, 2022

Jimmy graduates from SUNY with a Masters in Structural Engineering and a Bachelors in Mechanical.


July, 2022

Jimmy works at McDonalds while trying to find a job as a Structural Engineer


Septemeber, 2022

Jimmy starts working for Theme Park Innovations, a now very large and successful Theme park consulting and ride design firm started and owned by Mikey of this site.


March, 2023

Jimmy develops a launched coaster that is powered by the Nuclear Fusion of Hydrogen into Helium, much like how the Sun and other stars create energy.


November, 2023

TPI (The Park Innovations) unveils they're new patented launch coaster at IAAPA in Portland Oregon. Jimmy shows the convention goers about His/TPI's new invention, and the crown loves it. TPI is so happy, that they want Jimmy to design a compact one for them to build in on the land of their manufacturing plant in Texas. Jimmy happily agrees, and the first prototype is started.


Late November 2023, after IAAPA

Jimmy is a busy at work designing the prototype for his new ride. Jimmy and TPI decide to nick name it "Fusion"


Early December, 2023

Jimmy and TPI decide to present a teaser of the design so far to Coaster Crazy, where Mikey and Jimmy still visit and post.

The ride is handbuilt and features a 93 degree drop

Are you saying using Nuclear Fusion as energy to launch the ride is stupid? Imagine like S&S's air powered coasters, but the force that is resulted when you combine two hydrogens into helium pushing a catch-car.

how. I was trying to think of an original launch system, and that is the only idea that came to mind. Any suggestions?

How about old vacuum cleaner suction, dynamite, capturing earthquake tremors for power, natural gas with a pilot flame, a blevy from 50,000 gallons of petroleum exploding?

i like the coaster
how about a hydro coaster...
water goes into turbine and boom
but it wouldnt be a cancer coaster if the fusion was contained correctly
but at the same time.. i dont think there is enough room in a park for a fusion collision thing ...

A BLEVE? A Boiling Liquid Explosion Expanding Vapor Explosion? Yea...thats not the most reliable (or safe) way to get energy.




I aced a fire project in my one Fire Class using these as props. Really, you might have been doing that out of sarcasm, but a BLEVE is nothing to look lightly at. You dont "get" energy from one, you die from one :S

I'll just turn this project into a LSM powered coaster and pretend it's a whole new coaster.
