If someone want to make it he can, you can do everything with sketchup, there are over 1000 of plugins like auto-bend, auto pave, and so on.

Does anyone have it? The pro version. The one that can export to 3ds.

It's not illegal too:D What you do is make whatever you want in the free version, than use that tut to make it pro to export, than make it free again. Works like a charm. I use 3ds Max now.

Don't underestimate the power of Knex
I do everything by hand. Could you recreate the queue on the Great American Scream Machine with Sketch-Up? I don't think so. I'd like to see somebody try that.
