I'm designing a B&M Invert and I really want to include a nice Zero-G Roll somewhere in it (don't know where yet) because it's my second favorite inversion type. However, I know if I try to do it myself and then heartline it, it won't turn out very well. If any of you have advice on how to heartline/design a good zero-g roll for an invert, please help me by saying so in a reply. Thanks!

You can do it with elementary. Make a zero-G-roll and turn the heartline to 0.0000001. That's how I do it.

Either use FVD, or you cab try one of the tutorials. The elementary one comes out messy.

Negative heartline value worked better. Thanks Vid, I probably should've thought about that. [lol][lol]

They're Force Vector Design, for designing elements.

Or you can look in the articles section and maybe find some guidance. [;)]

There's actually not an article about it yet...*sigh*

However, there is a thread regarding it which I can't seem to find (damn search button). That will give you a little help, however (I hate saying this) CoasterSims is the site in which Red and Buster are actively answering questions about FVD in the select thread...

There is a small "tutorial" thats basically an explanation of the parts of the FVD on CS.

Jimmy, I've been doing that for the longest time, because I actually accidentally found that tutorial that is at the NLDC when I was browsing CS. The thing I discovered with it is that the rotational acceleration would probably kill people...

First of all, the first thing you have to do is make a parabolic hill in elementary, that when placed on your coaster, has 0g's (vertical) through the hill. Then you have to bank it. Usually I use 8 nodes, banking them 15, 35, 55, 75, 75, 55, 35, 0, all with con roll and REL ROLL enabled. Then you color the hill black, and heartline your track like you would with any other invert. (speeds in and out, -1.1, ect.)
