help with windows media player

i have about 30 hours worth of cds on my old hard drive.
today i took out thew old hard drive, installed a new one, installed windows, and put the old hard drive in an enclosure. now when i try to play the music off the old hard drive it says the liscence has expired for the chosen song.. where are the liscence archives so i can update my new windows?

I have absolutely no idea. I did something similar and had no problems at all.

should it not open a IE browser to download the licence automaticaly?
