I have been working on this hanging concept jet coaster inspired by the hanging feature of these water slides that I have been on. http://www.montgomerycountymd.gov/conte ... _slide.jpg

I like that idea. Never knew they could make a slide like that

Those slides are very fun to ride but the helixes are pumpy. I hope to go this winter to Germantown Aquatic Center and ride these amazing slides.

That scaffolding doesn't look strong enough to hold your track/train.

The idea is cool for a coaster but the forces and weight from a steel coaster are much more than on a slide.
The roof alone would need such a strengthening just to carry the weight of the track. So it's about impossible to have a running coaster of 2-3g hanging on the roof.
Coastercount: 1410 (I've seen the world and it's horrid contraptions... @.@)
- Wood: 142
- Steel: 1268

I like the idea a lot, but I have to agree with Dirk.

Wood track and steel supports from the ceiling. Autosupport the catwalks and railings and instead of building down from the railings build up...

It's a jet coaster, so I'm pretty sure the scaffolding wouldn't have to hold up much more than the weight of the track; the forces are so slight that they're basically negligible. [lol]

Don't forget to factor in the malnourished asians. Oh wait, that wouldn't matter anyway.
