I need help!!!!

ok so, this morning, i went to turn on my computer, and, well, the computer works fine, but my monitor just wont show any display. i tried the monitor on another computer, and it worked, and i tried another monitor on my computer, and it worked. i tried rebooting the computer and doing a soft shutdown (just hitting the power button, not holding it) and the computer worked fine, but still no display. and when i hit the display menu button on the monitor twice, it says that the computer is in power save mode when it obviously isnt. can anybody help? D:

If your monitor has multiple inputs, like a VGA input and a DVI input, you may have to press a button to manual switch it over. My Samsung has a button called "source". Also if you have a graphics card, make sure the monitor is not plugged into the on board video card.

no...everything is correctly hooked up in the right places, and there is only one input.
