nope, the white stripes are perfect lines at the edges, plus there's a slight disconnect at the segment joins (I noticed this on stealth). I reckon they're there to protect the paint in some way - once the bare metal is exposed, the steel starts rusting.

The "white stripes" are a friction reducing coating, although it doesn't last forever, if a ride is more than a year old, you'll notice plenty of patches where the primer colour has been revealed where the friction resitant coating and the top coat have been peeled off.

Functionality doesn't matter...the white stripes are a third color. TTD and KK are also good examples of Intamins with more than 2 colors. We win. :)

I would stick with the original dark blue color on the whole track with the grey supports.

Nah, there's a reason Intamin does what they do with the colors. I personally think it looks better in a single tone, but it also likely takes a lot less time and is cheaper for several reasons.

Alrighty, I have a quick little update.

A few more supports have been worked on...

Had to rework the supports for the lift, but I finally got them the way I want. Notice catwalks have gone up as well.

Feel free to comment.

WUT.

That looks quite short for this ride's scale...

Is that seriously it?
"Don't be a disability"... yep, still keeping that. :P

Hey i like your ride it looks hot.
How did you get the spine? Did you 3DS it in using tunnel maker or something or did you just apply it by hand using w/ supports?
Luv u thanks.

^^ stop saying "i love you" to everyone. it's not funny or clever or anything. it's just creepy and annoying
Boulder Dash was the only good roller coaster.

^^^ dude, wtf? Man, have you given up on life or what? Somewhere amidst that post is a sensible question and reasonable post, but then...

anyway, Tony, this is looking pretty kick ass to be honest. Taking into account the height of the ride, the layout does look short, but it looks to be about exactly the same as I305, so it's definitely realistic. Looking forward to it, man!
