I mean the catwalk won't be visible from the park side and I do like it, but that may just be because I am biased towards my homeparks.

The catwalk literally has no effect on the ride whatsoever. The catwalk looks like it was built to make it easier on the maintenance team. Don't complain. You're not riding the catwalk.

but think if theres a ride evac ive been in a few ride evac my self this will make it harder for the ride ops and mantinice team to get people down

^I have to say, that is true. Now there is a gap between the track at the top of the lift and the catwalk and that would be a small problem.

They don't show that at all in the render either, and might actually cost more to build than just bolting to the curve of the track... Not to mention being aesthetically painful. Only benefit I see is it'll be cool to see it fall away going over the hill.

There's probably a good reason we just don't know it. I don't see why they would deliberately deviate from industry standard without good reason.
