The Coaster Crew was there today and I think they got some cool shots of Wicked Cyclone on their facebook.

WC is looking stellar but I just can't handle the hard angle on that lift stairwell. MY EYES. Who made that call and for what reason? Lol.

I'm into it, it all is looking very excite. I am not quite getting the train...I suppose it's the Greek god of wind or something like this. I think the color palate could have been a bit better though.

I can't wait until this thing is finished. Im looking even more forward to see it complete a test run!

Those outward banking hills give me the idea it didn't had enough speed left for a good overbank so they went with this

^Have you seen how slowly Iron Rattler traverses the cliff-top overbanks? Quite slowly but they're still really sharp and awesome! I have a feeling that this was the original plan and they were just trying to be a little mysterious. There is no reason for a mid-construction layout change.

^Yes and considering the fact that it would be quite hard to just "change" the layout.

^I have to agree here. I like it painted gray, but it looks fantastic in black in the rendering. Also, the catwalks don't have the awkward straight section in the rendering too

Yes, but it is not pure orange as it is in the renderings. I guess we will just have to wait to see how it will look in the end.

I think we all know to never judge a coaster by the renders.

This isn't really Wicked Cyclone related, but I've been hearing that Six Flags New England will be offering ERT for season passholders on Flashback (the park's Boomerang) on April 18th.

ERT on a Boomerang? It doesn't get any more Six Flags than that.
