Anyone know how to unlock word so you can actually use it? [lol] because I was using it last night to type some stuff, then I came on wws.com for a bit and then went back to do some more work and it won't let me do anything on word [confused], it says it's locked ... Help was no good either, there was plenty of info telling me how to lock the fookin' thing [lol] but that's not what I want to know. So yeah, wtf do I have to do? [lol]

nah, it's not asking for a password or anything, what I've already written is just sitting there staring me in the face, but I can't add anything to it or edit it in anyway and all the buttons are disabled. In the bottom left hand corner, whenever I try to type something, it says "This modification is not allowed because the document is locked" ... but I haven't done anything to lock it [confused] [lol]. Technology is out to get me I swear!

Yeah it is, and I've used it before and have been using it for quite a while [lol]. No matter now anyway, because I'd downloaded that openoffice thing now [:)]

Cheers for the help

If you saved the file, try closing MSword with the task manager, I would just go to the processes tab and remove it from there, it shuts it down immediatly instead of waiting and then giving the error report. Then try to load the file again. Or did something mess up when you built your comp?
