Cool Designs
It has been some time since we've done this publicly, we've added a few here and there but now, we will let you toss up what designs you feel deserve to be in the cubeted Cool Designs. First of, I will change the name of the category from Cool Designs to "Elite of the Elite" which I feel is more suited. So tell us which tracks deserve to be there and give us a good reason why. Thank you.

X250's Masterpiece should obviously be there. Its the best RCT2 park here by a mile and just got promoted to Spotlight at NE as well. [:)]

Memoria is also a very good RCT2 park, Masterpiece and Memoria are in the same class, in my opinion.

As for NL, I would suggest Artemis, Star Wars: Hangar 327, and Monolith. I just really like these coasters. Artemis for its adrenaline, Hangar for the Originality, and Monolith for its cool design.

Well my favourite ride (Black Halo) is already in the list[worship].
BUT,there is another coaster which I would like to see there.
Drummerkid's KAMIKAZE:there is no brilliant scenery in it but it's one of the coolest and most original layout ever built.
Not too long, not too short,a great speed for whole ride and an incredible combination with the elements.
If you analyze it you will find everything:launch, new inversions, high speed helixes and airtime.

My goal for this year:

Build a track worthy of being nominated

In the meantime, though, I second the motion on dcs221's "Artemis". That thing was just completely awesome. Deserves a nod on the cool designs in addition to the platinum medal for winning the contest.

I nominate Venice Queen by Dynamix! I loved that ride, so tiny but packs a huge punch.

I really think that Van Helsing by Ish is one of my favorite woodies made yet.
Then there is my favorite hyper coaster, Quatro, by Real. One of the most fun and realistic rides in my opinion.

edit: I also want to throw Snakespinner by lucasw up there. That ride is very very fun.

You're kidding, it's hardly worthy of a cool design. His other rides are though.

^All of his are worthy.

I like The Masterpiece as well for RCT2, and Enchanted Elements, if it isn't already on there.

Hm. I enjoyed Muella's Pandemonium, but if you really take a look at what has been placed into the Cool Designs section, it really is not the right material...

My first nomination is Big Bear by Barone (say that five times fast [lol])
Second nomination is take out Hellfire
'Nuff Said.
1-Millennium Force | 2-Intimidator 305 | 3-Fury 325
4-Skyrush | 5-Iron Rattler | 6-X2 | 7-Kingda Ka

Accually I feel that coaster has a legacy. Back in 2003, (woah I've been here a long time) that coaster was like the idol coaster, for me for sure at least. Sure, it's nothing good right now, maybe even is bad nowadays, but back then it was amazing, and rightfully deserves a spot there, and will stay there forever. Thats my thinking.

Also, I second (or third?) the Artemis statement. Amazing ride.

Muella's Pandemonium is just as worthy as Big Bear. It's the first memorable impulse I've ever been on, and well I've seen some rides like Big Bear, not to take away from it.

Kinda shocked that none of these are in there:

Rogue Wave, Quatro, and Outlaw by Real
Genesis by Nightride
Sometimes the best thing to say is nothing at all.

GerstlCrazy, you have no right whatsoever to suggest removing Hellfire....you've been a member here for only a few months and have no clue about Hellfire's legacy or its importance, let alone how awesome it was when released. Quite frankly you'd be best off in the future to just keep quiet rather than expose your ignorance and youth.

^Harsh, but sorry Gerstl, I agree.

Anybody ever say it was being taken off?

Also, I don't mean to me mean or anything, but I don't see how the Too Many Cooks got on there. Honestly, I don't like that too much, but I'm just making a statement. Maybe because it's length? Someone fill me in.

I second CoasterkidMWM. That and Roque Wave are in a league of their own when it comes to Intamin Inverts.

I also would like to nominate Diavolozza, the best rocket I've ever seen, and ofcourse Artemis. Holy hell...those rides are INSANE.

^Dia was nice, and one of the only good one's i've seen that accually launches from the station. That's what always surprises me on a coaster.
