Opinion on Site Contests- Input Required!

Hey guys, had a quick question for all of you.

As most of you know, we just finished up our Tight Fit Spinning Coaster Contest. If you haven't heard/seen it, I suggest you click here.

Anyways, I am trying to get a site opinion on it. Did you like the contest? Did you not like it? Would you change something? Would you like us to do more contests more often throughout the year? I think the answer is yes, but I'd like to hear it from all of you. So please choose an answer in the poll and then leave a comment if possible.

Moar! But not too many - people have their own projects they like to work on so I would be worried that you might see decreased participation if you did too many back to back competitions.

More contests are always good. It's for me a better motivation to get actually something finished, instead of moving it aside because I don't feel like working on it.

I haven't participated in contests because I don't have NoLimits 2 (not available on Mac), and I can't design coasters to save my life, though I do enjoy seeing the coasters that everyone makes for contests, so I would like to see a few more of them.

I raise you a 2nd poll, how often would you like to see a contest?

One every month?
One every two months?
One every three months?

I personally think one every 3 months is the best choice. 4 contests a year seems plenty, and gives adequate time to work on each one.

I think one every 3 months works best too. And if that's too many, one every 4 months!

I think the contests are cool and would like to compete in some but

One,
I only get maybe two evenings a week to use Nolimits2 due to my work schedule.

Two,
I have only one design to my name so far uploaded which took me about 2 months + to complete.

Three,
Im still a total newbee

Four,
I have seen alot of the deigns from the experts who usually enter these contest so the chances are GREATLY, Im going to get my ass kicked

I think proper written ratings should be mandatory - this means people who don't expect to win will still get a reward in terms of feedback on their ride! 3 Months means you can have a nice 1 month long minimum build period which will help people (myself included) find the time to complete something!
