GerstlCrazy's Park #2 - Intamin & Suspended Etc. (Page 2)

Showing a few teasers of a project I started and certainly intend on finishing. It's an Intamin Mega based off of Goliath WH and kind of EGF. Also, a suspended with loose inspirations from Big Bad Wolf and Iron Dragon.

You might want to make the exit of the lift longer on the suspended.

Both rides look good from what I can see. The designs seem to fit right into the real styles.

Ckidmwm: What do you mean? Like bring them both down the declining straights a bit more? Are you referring to both lifts?

I didn't notice until now it had two lifts lol. Anyways, it just seems the newer suspendeds had a longer straight section after the lift than what you have. It's a minor technicality, otherwise it looks fine.

Well the first lift has a pretty long straight, and the second (bigger) lift doesn't have a long straight, but it gently releases the train into the banking turn a lot like on Eagle's Fortress. I have a few pics that might make it look better.

And announcing that I just finished the layout on the suspended. So I have two solid coasters with trackwork complete! Either I will continue with supports and beyond, or maybe squeeze in another smaller coaster.

The train is traversing the high-speed second half.



The park will reach a corner where the brake run and station of the Intamin meets the lift hill area of the suspended. This is a view of that area.

And the pictures posted below display the finale to the first part of the layout. A "square" helix with 3 corners that cause the train to do some awesome last few powerful swings before entering the big lift hill for layout part 2.

Oh shucks. There is still much to do and much to be revealed, but I'm glad you already like it from here.

Can you put the TOGO track on your red suspended coaster upside down so that it is like a TOGO suspended? That would look really cool.

I don't really want that for my park...

Looks very nice. Realistic layouts there, and look pretty good executed. Can't wait to see more!

Suspended ride looks huge! Like a really solid suspended which you don't see at all theses days!

Warthog was a great little ride so I'm looking forward to seeing you working on a couple of larger rides in NL2!

Dat Intamin! Mmmmm, airtime....! Layout looks solid and action packed which is nice to see. The suspended looks mega long too, which isn't a bad thing, and I can definitely see some of the Big Bad Wolf inspiration. Looking forward to more of your creations!

So I stumbled upon the fact that the two sections of the layout coincide quite a bit. This wasn't planned. But it's almost as though they are a bit of a dueling couple =D In one coaster. Here are some moments and more angles.

That's awesome. That interaction takes the ride one step further!

That's a pretty awesome coincidence - can't wait to see the ride in action! I bet that dueling looks awesome onride!

Awesome surprise dueling!

I'm gonna bump the f&%$ing s#!t out of this f#&%ing topic so I can actually get some mother f%&@ing downloads. I mean... here are some pictures of the next thing that's in this park. It's a B&M invert with some inspiration from Flight Deck at CGA and some Raptor in the drop. For this park's chronology, the B&M invert probably would have come in during/around 1994 (1994 = Nemesis and Raptor.)

I really like the progression of the layout of the new invert. And its setting right along the water where the zero g roll ends. The zero g looks incredibly well-shaped, too.
