Great Escape 5/25

Uh....I went to Great Escape yesterday. Comet was fun, the new S&S towers suck, and I saw (and climbed on?) Astroworld's SLC plus some other stuff.


Blah.


Wee.


Demon kinda sucks.


I almost got all of Canyon Blaster in this shot.


It's a pretty nice park.


Alpine Bobsled died an hour after we got there, but we got on it before.


Comet was lame for 3 of my rides, but really good for the other 2.

no offence but this has to be one of the worst trip reports i have ever seen or read. you really need to make an effort to explane how your day was weahter it was good or bad.

I take great offense to this, I put a whole 3 minutes of typing into it. You should be more considerate of what other people think and how they convey their opinions.

Alpine Bobsled dies every day at the top of the lift about an hour after opening.. You had a busy day, Comet never has a line..

It was like a 2-3 train wait total, they just didn't have the swtichbacks open so it looked like more. They were running both trains too.

The only thing that had an actual wait was the Boomerang.

ive been there once, its pretty nice down there

they moved the Astroworld track to somewhere else. I went to fright fest and couldn't see it from boomerang.

It went to La Ronde.

^which was a REALLY stupid decision. I have a bad feeling it went there as a prize for winning the tournament of thrills. PLEASE don't be THAT stupid Six Flags!!!

How did la Ronde win tourney of thrills? lol.

^Le Monstre beat Comet, Nitro, El Toro, and X2 just because La Ronde advertised the tournament, which no other park did. They were even encouraging people to vote for Le Monstre on the News in Montreal!!!

why is it at la ronde? the great escape probably needs a coaster more that anyone else. when was the last time they built something worth coming out ot see?

ha ha my 50th post. was the Comet even on tournament of thrills? i thought that it wasnt, they just had that thing on all the TVs in six flags.
