Wow, it's an impressive creation, but why?

Given a tool to create any kind of theme park, and the ability to create fairly realistic looking structures, why create a modern city (with a McDonald's I noticed). Those poor park gusts look confused, they must be wondering if they're still in the park, or if they wandered out of it without noticing.

That's very, very awesome! Would be so cool to add a park in the middle of it.
