What is the best roller coaster in orlando and why?
I think Manta because it has got to be one of the best put together attractions ever created for an orlando park.

OMG MANTA BY SOOOO FAAAR! I rode it like 5 times in a row at night when it had like no line and WOW, that pretzel loop has to be the most fun thing EVER on a coaster. I love that feeling of floating up in your seat (yes there is a bit of space) as you dive down then the major gforce on your back. Heaven.

And those rolls, and that splash thing that sprinkles your knees, and that little waterfall that you look like you! I LOVE THAT RIDE It has to be one of my favorite coasters EVER.

But my second favorite is hulk, simply because it has a really fun launch and that barrel roll dive thing is awsome, and it is extremely forcefull in some spots. I love the themeing and everything. When i went it had ABSOLUTELY NOO LINE! I rode it like 6 times in a row. It can be a bit rough but it has a charm about it that cant be found anywhere else.

Third is a tie between the two dueling dragons, which are so fun because it is really focefull, and i love the hill/barrel roll on both of them, and LOVE the loop part. Those are in my top 20 somewhere.

Hulk? Are you guys serious? Hulk is so lame compared to DD Fire. It does shimmy too much and the first 3/4th is great but the last 1/4th (which is about how the rides split which is IMO a huge design flaw, should be 2/3 1/3) is just blah. As good as the first half is I cant throw it over a ride that is just designed better.

Manta would be a close second tied with DD Ice for me. That ride is GORGEOUS and absolutely great. It really makes me realize how good Tatsu must be.

Tatsu didn't even make my top ten.. For that reason I fail to see any greatness at all in Manta. Fliers in my opinion are just an invert with only one moment throughout the whole ride (the pretzel loop) being forceful. Speed and Forces are just not present. The whole 'cool' factor of the flying position is just not that great. Batman: The Ride, Raptor, Alpengeist, and the Dueling Dragons are inverts that essentially include the flying experience if you sit in the front seat but they are actually forceful and have great speed. You are hearing me correctly, I would rather take a ride on Batman: The Ride over Manta!

I've never ridden anything in Florida, but I would pick Hulk. It has always been near the top of my list of coasters to ride. The layout is quite far from the traditional and common B&M. It appears to be the most interesting/fun coaster over there. My second pick would be either of the Dueling Dragons, those just look awesome!

I have to say that one of the most underrated coasters in orlando is the Kraken. Some times during the cobra rolls the force is so intense I feel like i am going to pass out. I think that Hulk has not aged well. I havent gotten a chance to ride Hollywood rip ride rockit yet. How is it anyone and how does it compare to the manta?

It has many unnecessary pieces of straight track that are supposed to be suspensful for the front row. But for every other row all it is is strait track. The rides are short, rather bumpy, and not nearly the quality of invert that Montu or Alpengeist are.
