At CGA, I saw something similar to this happen. I was at Whitewater Falls (the same type of ride, without the theming), and I saw a man jump into the water to get some sunglasses. Luckily the operators saw him fast enough and pressed the E-stop before he could get hurt. I swear, people make so many dumb decisions. He could have gotten killed, and he was ejected from the park. Idiot.

^ When did that happen? It's my local park and I never heard or saw anything of this happening.

I never have neither, just of the idiot that climbed the fence of the (at the time) Top Gun just to get his hat, and got a foot to the skull, sending him to his death.. and on his honeymoon, too. (My mom worked with him.) Dumb ass.

I hope the rider's foot is ok, and that the ride didn't suffer too much downtime.

He could've gotten killed but worst of all, the E-stop meant that dozens of people in line had to wait several minutes longer.
