I think it's a I305 mini. You can see the two supports on the lift, like I305's.

Not so much now that we've seen the likely layout. At that height, I don't see it being much better than that layout, so if they switch it up on us then it'll likely be less exciting to follow anyways.

I'll be interested again when they show a Keith McVeen video, more blueprints, start construction, or open the ride. If it's the Intamin from the plans...I'm so there.

The supports have arrived on site. And they look very similar to I305 box supports.

So yeah, this'll probably be a new-gen Intamin hyper. With OTSRs probably.

^uh yeah the restraints are a huge part of the experience. Otsrs on a hyper would suck.

The thought of it sucks, but consider rides like say Intimidator 305, Ispeed, and Storm Runner are awesome even with their OTSRs. I think having those restraints takes a bit away from it, even if it may be necessary, the ride designs themselves are so far ahead of most other rides that they're still great.

Especially if they're padded like I:305, but if there's no inversions, I'd bet on lapbars, unless that layout has twisty fast transitions like I:305.

Or fat people have forever ruined that type of coaster in the USA.

I bet you 10 dollars when a mega lite actually gets built in the USA it'll have the OTSR's.

What does body size have to do with the type of restraint used?

The path that the restraint takes on the way down is more accommodating with otsr than lap bars. It will go into their stomach instead of stopping at their thighs. Its hard to explain.

Maybe Intamin will come up with a lap bar that attaches to the side of the seat and comes down like an OTSR but is just the lap bar portion of it. Doubtful, but that would probably benefit.

That was what people thought would happen on I305

Mack knows what's up. But really, if your looping coaster only has lapbars, it costs more to insure the ride, that's a reason why Revolution has restraints. But Hershey's should really only have lapbars. Bizarros makeover in 2008 had new Intamin trains with only lapbars.

Intamin has a habit of ejecting fat americans.

^Aside from the financial impact that could have; I fail to see the problem :p

Yeah the financial issue is the main problem.
