So, back when nldevcenter was open this seemed quite popular and I remember getting requests to add it here. So, is there interest still in this? I have already worked out the details for, I just want to see if there would be interest in this or should I instead ditch it and use the resources for something else.

I'm curious, If something like NLDC was added to the site (Not just the "Scrapyard" area), who would use it? I would

A scrapyard section sounds good to me. Finally place to put some of my old designs there, that never got finished. [:)]

Would the scrapyard be a place for unfinished tracks to be uploaded for other people to finish??? I'm trying to understand exactly what purpose it would serve.

Well, I think it could be used for that or something like my ride Awaken, where I just wanted to upload the ride or what was completed of it. Another example would have been A113's California Screamin' recreation

Yes - good idea. Back in the day the old scrapyard made even me open up the editor and try to finish off some abandoned NL tracks.

Tracks that you have abandoned. Scrapyard is just that, a place for you to post tracks you were working on but can't be arsed to finished and wouldn't mind someone else stepping in. There wont be ratings here. Just post the track and people can download it, maybe have some comments. Or you just want to get rid of the track and don't care about the ratings or awards and just want people to have it, then that's the place for it. Any uncompleted track will go there. Hope that clears it up.

Seems like a good idea to me. I very often start more projects than I actually end up finishing.

Alright, it will have more bells and whistles than the old scrapyard where you only uploaded the file, file name and a short description. This one is more detailed but doesn't involve ratings. I hope you like it when all is coded. I contacted a member from cc for the design work but haven't heard a reply so I'm still in the hunt for one.

If you can read php and can create phpbb templates and can do css, jquery, html file, send me a pm and we'll talk.

Scrapyard would be great considering there are uploads to the exchange, mainly nl2 tracks, that are not finished. I think this would greatly reduce the number of updated versions loaded into the exchange.

this looked like it would have many of you posting abandoned tracks in there but so far only 4 have, with only 1 person posting more than 1. Come on guys, dump your tracks in there. Fill it up!

fyi, since it isn't a used featured as was shown, it was been shoved off as a submenu in the Exchange menu item.
