upload rules/etiquette?

I'm just wondering,
if i wanted to use someones old NL1 track and import it to compliment my NL2 track, do i need to get permission from them or can i just give them proper credit. I have no idea how to contact this person or what site i got the track from(not this one).

i just really love it next to mine and really want to use it.

It has to be your own track or with permission from the original maker. No buts!
