Thorpe Park has been granted approval for an indoor attraction for 2016. This is assumed to be a dark ride given that it is indoors and fully themed.

Here's an image that shows where the dark ride will be placed in the theme park:

There's more rendering, pics and other interesting stuff located here: (edit - Use source link since the link is session based not a static one and click Documents at the bottom of the page)
Do you think this dark ride for Thorpe Park will be an exciting one?

Link doesn't work Oscar - it's not made the entire thing a URL!

However should be pretty good - I think the park has a decent set of coasters - so something really well themed will be a solid addition! Looks like it has a abandoned warehouse-y feel to it.

If the rumors are true about this being a Doctor Who dark ride, then I'll travel all the way to the UK just for this. It would be totally worth it!

Thorpe park has released some "secret information" about their new ride. Go to the site and on the main page use the arrow keys (up, up, down, down, left, right, left, right) and it will show a teaser.

Here is a link to the site: https://mindswanted.co.uk/

If you are too lazy here is the pictures

More secret information on https://mindswanted.co.uk/ including this video.

source: Thorpe Park Youtube

There's a lot of speculation about a comination scare maze plus ride element and Gthing64 on Towerstimes found a job description which may give some good hints towards the ride - assuming it is about the Thorpe Attraction:

GThing64 @ Towerstimes wrote:
The job ad in itself also reveals some interesting tidbits, with the ride "using cutting edge ride technology to create a completely believable feeling that CG characters and scenes are actually real", using "many huge screens set around a massive sound-stage full of practical sets that the ride vehicles crashes through during the adventure". The ride will apparently use sound and perspective to disorientate, in addition to practical effects such as water, smoke and even fire. And of course, the ride will be accompanied by an original music score too!
