Late June / Early July is towards the end of the school summer term over here so I think many schools go during the week and the weekends tend to open later yet be resonably quiet.

So for information I'm planning to book this stuff end of this month!

So we want to go to Thorpe Park March 17th? Do we know if that's when the Derren Brown ride will definitely be open too?

The new ride will not be open on the 17th (same for Alton) so I was thinking we could delay Thorpe til later in the season and consider southend / dreamland margate?

Love HELIX.... but love is still a weak word for it. HELIX is just so great!

And yes, the prices are high but its worth it.
They have Balder (Wooden coaster), Helix (Mack Launch coaster), Lisebergbana (Schwarzkopf... maybe), Kanonen (Rocket Launch coaster)... rabalder (Kiddy coaster).

Also make sure to test out mechanica.

I can't go there. No money.
And that means ZERO amusement parks for me this year.

Sad to hear you can't come Coaster Mind! However being from the UK Liseberg prices are actually pretty good - we pay something like 615 SEK on the door for entry to Alton Towers!

Update on Liseberg prices:

SEK 355 for 1 day pass (~??36)
SEK 550 for 2 day pass including admission (~??50)

If it moves to somewhere in June, perhaps there is an opportunity I can join in after all. As soon as the date is known I can see whatever I can do.

I live in Sweden and I have been to Liseberg multiple, and I can say this. It is an amazing park! (will go there this summer again) ps. if anyone needs help with anything (like translation from swedish to english etc.) just contact me!
