Remember the old Bloom County cartoons, the ones with Opus the Penguin. A storyline that went on for months involved some of the characters forming a heavy metal band called Deathtounge. After pressure from a concressional committee on censorship, the band changed their name to Billy and the Boingers. (This is all in the book "Billy and the Boingers: Bootleg")

The Book came with a floopy 45 (huh, what's a 45?) that had two songs on it. One was their song "U stink, but I Love You". Funny Song.

The song was actually recorded by the New York based group, Mucky Pup on the album A Boy in a Mans World. A lot of their songes are funny. Hippies Hate Water and 3 Dead Gophers (with Biohazard) are two notable funny songs and both can be found on the NOW album.
