I'm having some minor smoothness problems, actually. I spent so much time on the adrenaline of the ride (well, as much adrenaline as you can get with 3 stinkin' block brakes anyway), getting the g-forces in limits (man, that was a pain on the small grid), and the custom supports; you can pretty much detect about 40% of the verticie transitions. they're not big bumps, but they are still there. I have alot of work still left to be done before tomorrow. it's hard to place supports when every single inch of the template is covered in roller coaster track.

NOOOOOOO! My computer screwed up! The NL editor no longer reckognizes Ultimate Nightmare as a valid file, and it says 'cannot load track' when I try to get in. Unfortunately, this stupid computer of mine may just have cost me my entry into the competition. if I can rescue the file in the next eight hours, i'm still in, but it's not looking promising. i'm probably going to have to withdraw from the running. [:(]

Well, it's official. The track will no longer load on my computer. WWS, I'm sending you the unfinished track. the supports are not done, but the layout and smoothing was completed. if you are successful at viewing the track, then could you try to ignore the missing support columns? There is nothing I can do about them. And even if i don't make it to the next round of the competition, be it because GFA beats me or the track won't load for you either, I will be back to compete again as soon as i stop wailing "NOOOOOOOOO!". oh, well. i hope you get to see the file. I'll be waiting. I can't believe it... i was only 2 stinking hours away from finishing the coaster and my stupid computer kiled it... after 30 hours of work, it's dead.

Oh, man that really sucks. I'm sorry for you maybe it cheers you up if i say my track is also far from perfect. I am support building now but I don't know if i can finish them, i guess I can but not for sure. I also made a few other mistakes so don't give up yet [:)]

i did back it up... the backup had the same bug. oh, well. Congrats, GFA. i hope you have better luck than i did. I'll miss this contest. [:(]

That sucks[:(][:(]...I had that same error before but it was because i didn't have winzip, so I couldn't load it

I know the feeling, I used to always overwrite my rct saved games, with the wrong one, and would loose hours, and hours of work [:(]

no offense, GFA, but Ultimate Nightmare would have slaughtered your coaster. You were VERY VERY lucky to make it through this round.
