My second greatest disappointment was Sheikra at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay. I've never known a ride, that is in theory travelling at high speeds, feel quite so sluggish.

My greatest is Nemesis Inferno at Thorpe Park. By far the weakest B&M I've ever ridden, and also seemingly the most forceless.

Something about his appearance really reminds me of Craig Ferguson, but perhaps 30 years older.

You cannot believe I much I hate the 'News of the World' (the newspaper who took the snaps.) - they try to do this all the time: spy on people constantly, looking for the slightest mistake and just get pleasure out of using sensationalist headlines to ruin a person's life. Leave the poor guy alone!

The only one that really sticks in my mind is that of Nemesis in Alton Towers - sort of Neo-Gothic.

But actually, does anyone remember the station music 'Modern' from RCT-2? Now that is my favourite station music!

My first ever ride, at the age of 4, was the legendary Matterhorn Bobsleds at Disneyland CA. I feel that to be somewhat appropriate as I believe (and please do correct me on this) that it was the first ever steel roller coaster. My first ever 'proper' roller coaster was Nemesis at Alton Towers, aged...

I'd like to nominate the very recent ' Widdow of the Woods ' by RCT-3-Crazy, a ride that I don't feel has yet received the attention (and subsequent acclaim) that it deserves. I do wish he could spell though. http://coastercrazy.com/track_exchange/detail.asp?tid=14917 Perhaps also ' Sonic The Hedgeh...

Ok, no-one has mentioned them yet, so I feel I ought to give them a plug. I've always been quite partial to the trains on Arrow Hypers. I like the fact that they're longer than most other steel trains, generally holding 6 people per carriage, and I love the lights which they generally have at the fr...

The Absolute Favourite Inversion Of Any Coaster

You may think this topic has been done to death, yet hopefully I'll add a new lick of paint to it. Now perhaps I'm just a neurotic who's obsessed with detail, but every inversion on every ride is different. Be it the height, the speed, the shaping, the scenery, roughness, or approach and exit, they ...

Well one has to understand the significance that Pizza has had on my life. Going to a boarding school where the food was simply abhorable, it was a very common pastime for people to therefore order pizzas from town to the school gates. Some people would actually order themselves a pizza every single...

Probably highly spurious since I'm sure that the trains for this ride are green, yet the track reminds me much of Dragon Coaster at Rye's Playland.

I very seldom post here, yet I am shocked and disheartened to see that Schwarzkoph coasters has not even figured in this debate. True, much of the company's activity died alongside Anton, yet if the defunct company of Arrow Dynamics is present, then surely Schwarzkoph should be also? Here is the com...

Dismal Rate

As my post count my indicate, I'm not someone who has ever felt particularly inclined to post on these boards, and most probably never will again.
