Re: What are YOU doing in NL2 Right now?

Decided to give the Arrow a break. Trying my hands at an Intamin Invert next.

Re: Dodonpa is the next coaster to be "fixed" apparently...

Hopefully. I always hoped they'd give the whole thrust air launch thing another try. That launch on Dodonpa must be intense.

Re: Arrow shaping

Thanks CK. Alright, so no heartlining, no depumping? I'm of course not trying to appease to the G-Force 3rd Reich, but I doubt that Arrow was able to pull off those no-lateral G turns perfectly, so what is a reasonable limit for laterals? And obviously it seems like I'll have to make a lot build a l...

Arrow shaping

I'm slowly getting into NL2, and for my first project I am working on an Arrow hyper looper, but I cannot get the shaping right. Is just all too smooth, I'm missig the awkward banking and snapping transitions. Having never ridden an Arrow my experiences are limited and videos only get me so far. So,...

Re: What are YOU doing in NL2 Right now?

20160911224443_1.jpg I think I am slowly getting the hang of this. Not quite sure about the shapin of the curved hill, and the first drop probably needs some reevaluation as well, but it is coming along nicely. The concept I have in mind is essentially a combination of Drachen Fire, Steel Phantom a...

Re: Buena Vista

Looks very nice. The Ghostrider-Woodie must've been a pain to build, with the high friction values in the game.

Re: What are YOU doing in NL2 Right now?

I had NL2 for quite some time, but I've never taken the time to actually get into the workings of the editor. That idea of a Steel Phantom/Drachen Fire Arrow Hyper Looper has been haunting me for a while now. Imagine Steel Phantoms first part until the huge drop into the valley but with the curved f...

Re: Terrain RMC

Wow, those supports already look really well detailed! How much time did you spent in it? Honestly, I have no idea, but it takes a long time. More time than any sane person would spend on this. This IS awesome ( + 8-) ) bar the fancy-looking ( ) station! Thanks. The station is still W...

Re: The "Terrible ideas that I want done anyways" thread

In breaking news, RMC laid off their entire staff and replaced it exclusively with RCCA staff.

Also, Interior Semiotics-themed darkride. Careful, NSFW-ish: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I9lmvX00TLY

Re: Terrain RMC

Thanks CK. Obviously this is a merged ride with the water coaster track as base, so the stats are all over the place. Wouldn't even have dared to build something like this in vanilla RCT2 because of all the merges, OpenRCT has made things so much easier. Seneca Valley Adventure Land 2016-08-13 18-47...

Terrain RMC

Been a long time since my last post but I figured I could show you something I've been working on, among other projects. Usually I tease my stuff over at NE, but I wanted to see if people here still care about RCT2, so you're getting a first taste of my attempt at custom supporting this thing. I was...

Re: Back from the dead

When I take an interrest in something, it usually ends up to be an (unhealthy) obsession. I wouldn't be surprised if I am burned out on music by the end of the year, but I'll make this one count. Not sure if the same happend with coasters, but I want to take things slow.

Re: Back from the dead

I think I've been around for enough time to know cool5. Now, I haven't been to a park in years. And I do not feel like dishing out money for Connyland. How the hell is there no decent coaster in this coutry with Intamin and B&M coming from here? I spend most of my money on new music, concerts an...

Re: Back from the dead

I just kind of lost track (pun intended) of coaster related stuff. I have immersed myself in a lot of heavy music, and I just didn't feel like picking up coaster stuff, especially feeling frustrated after my PC gave up on me (the one where my RCT2 project Geneva Gardens was on). School, a new job an...

Re: Gwazi Will Close Forever in Early 2015

I bet RMC will take care of Gwazi. I just wished this trend would come to Europe. Bandit (that POS) could do with a retracking.

Re: Back from the dead

I wish it would run better on my PC (best I can do is 20 FPS on low settings). BTW, somehow some of the tracks that I downloaded won't show up in the folder to select for the simulator.

Re: What bands have you seen live?

Um, not so many actually, but since I've kinda become obsessed with Stoner/Doom/Sludge that will change soon. So far: The Sword Clutch (obviously) People's Temper Truckfighters Wolfwolf 1000mods Wild Eyes Slash ft. Myles Kennedy and the Conspirators. (and a bunch of other ones at festivals, but I'll...
