Real: The problem with voyage is the friction. According to Holiday world, it's doing 67mph at the base of the first drop, and 50mph right before the climb into the brakes. No way you can do that kind of speed in NL.
Now he's really made clear his intentions. He's gone and chagned it to straight 0.50s. I think this resolves any doubt about the rate. <!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://coastercrazy.com/track_exchange/detail.asp?tid=9874">http://coastercrazy.com/track_exchange/de ... p?tid=9874</a><!-- m -->

His tech score is just total BS. For one, he says I use no track connectors. Despire the fact that ...
This dude seriously needs to have his rating privileges removed. He posts SOOO many crap rates. Every rate I've ever seen from him is a one liner, and either stragiht 10's or like a 2 or less. Here are just a few: <!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://coastercrazy.com/track_exchange/detail.asp?...
We don't hate people who are bad. We hate people who don't *care* that they're bad and just keep on posting crappy ride after crappy ride with no sign of improvement.
On the home stretch now. Working on the station. Look for this to be uploaded tonight. This has to be some kind of speed record for a project of this scale. I didn't even start on it until Saturday night.
Ok, last batch of pictures for tonight. I decided that I liked the way the helix scenery was coming, so I went ahead and modeled the objects I thought I'd need to "complete" it. I'm really happy with what I've come up with, while at the same time not going too nuts with the poly counts. http://img10...
Not quite sure what you mean about the connectors. Gerstlauer builds these rides VERY simply, and I'm just following their example. See, for instance: http://pictures.rcdb.com/picmax/lagunasia/aqua-wind4.jpg Look at the support in the bottom left corner. They just come straight down off the connector.
Ok, fine you want more pics? http://img398.imageshack.us/img398/6639/bobsled23ak.jpg The lift hill and final few hills. http://img480.imageshack.us/img480/8012/bobsled39kb.jpg The 3rd block brake and the last helix. http://img480.imageshack.us/img480/66/bobsled47ge.jpg The largest drop on the ride, ...
Nah, this will probably be a week or two. I have plans for some fairly extensive 3ds. Plus as soon as cjd gets off his ass and gets round 3 underway this will be on the back burner.
