The only coaster that was rough enough to get my attention was Voyage.

Mean Streak isn't too bad in the front really. The back rattles a bit more but it's not totally awful.

When I rode front row in 2003 it also wasn't that bad...I think people like to overreact.

Hercules on the other hand...ouuuuuch.

Boss is supposed to be good at the opening of a season as its track is damp and therefor it glides through the otherwise horrible helix.

The Screaming Eagle really isn't bad. It's mostly smooth and pretty fun.

Boss is bizarre because no matter how much wood, retracking, whatever, it always seems to be feel just about the same. It has always been like that. It's a fantastic ride, you're just suicidal if you marathon it.

It was smooth in its first season. Remember when that guy DID marathon ride it in it's first season?

With the rumoured site being the old Freefall site. A eurofighter would be the best bet because of the vertical lift not taking up much space. Room for the rest of the ride will be needed on the Freefall site.

Does the park have any survey markings up, or areas closed for demolition?

The only area that is closed off is the old Freefall and Drive In theatre site. But the park has a lot of areas restricted to only park employees so they could be anywhere.

Another possibility is http://www.mack-rides.com/lang-de/c231/default.html

if you look at the picture of the supports, it looks like the support type on eurofighters, and the track looks like the 3-spined eurofighter track.

Six Flags Over Georgia press release:
http://www.sixflags.com/overGeorgia/rid ... ldive.aspx

New Coaster for 2011 Season?????????First of its Kind in the Southeast!
Largest Theme Park in the Southeast to Open 11th Thrill Coaster
Attention all daredevils, the Southeast?????????s largest theme park Six Flags Over Georgia, is proud to announce a unique new roller coaster for the 2011 season. DARE DEVIL DIVE will be the park?????????s first ?????????euro fighter????????? coaster, which features a rare ten story vertical lift and the country?????????s first drop that dives beyond vertical as it plummets towards earth.

DARE DEVIL DIVE?????????s mission begins with guests being pulled straight up to the sky on a special vertical chain lift, then slowly rolling to the top of the tower nearly 100 feet in the air. After an agonizing pause at the crest of the summit, the coaster car plummets downward at an angle that is beyond straight down - it actually angles inward at a blistering 52 mph. The ride then careens through a thrilling combination of diving loops while executing three inversions before riders catch air on a zero gravity hill and swoop across the dreaded Immelmann vertical U turn stretched high above the ground. The crescendo builds as the car dives toward the ground and up into a Heartline roll before being slowed by the magnetic brakes.

?????????We?????????re excited to welcome DARE DEVIL DIVE as our 11th roller coaster,????????? said Melinda Ashcraft, Park President of Six Flags Atlanta Properties. "This thrill ride features a vertical lift hill and beyond vertical first drop that our guests have never experienced before. It will be the perfect complement to an already stellar coaster lineup.?????????

DARE DEVIL DIVE is custom-designed and engineered by the industry-acclaimed Gerstlauer Rides based in Germany, who also created the popular Tony Hawk?????????s Big Spin at several Six Flags parks and Pandemonium at Six Flags New England.

DARE DEVIL DIVE is scheduled to open Memorial Day Weekend and will join a host of thrilling rides and attractions at Six Flags Over Georgia including the hyper-coaster Goliath, one of the tallest coasters in the Southeast, Batman: The Ride and Superman: Ultimate Flight.

More Flags. More Fun. More Affordable. 2011 Six Flags Over Georgia Season Passes are now on sale for as low as $49.99 each. For a limited time only, guests who purchase and process four (4) or more 2011 Season Passes by October 31, 2010 will receive a FREE season parking pass. A Season Pass offers unlimited visits to Six Flags Over Georgia, free tickets for friends, savings on in-park food and fun, and access to exclusive Season Pass events.

Steel Hawg has a beyond vertical drop. Which makes this the second coaster in the US to have a beyond vertical drop. Still think it is very unique to Six Flags and the companies first eurofighter in the chain.

This is a fail press release considering we also have Maverick and Farhenheit. Unless they are referring to only EFs. Ride looks sick though.
