Well, I finally downloaded the free trial and I am having some major issues. First thing I noticed was that everything was moving WAY too fast. Then, I I hit minus a bunch of times figuring I might as well try the No Limits method. Now, it is constantly changing speeds and the sky never slowed down. Then, I wanted to make a hyper. I made a dual station and there were two segments wobling around and moving all over the place in the station. I am already not liking this and seems like a mix between Hyper Rails and NL.

Maybe your +/- buttons are stuck? Or you are accidentally pressing them?

How is Hyper Rails?
All RCCAs should be RMC'd. And that event shall be henceforth known as the Rollercaust.

Every problem I am having is a computer problem, not a program problem. Some of it got fixed when I restarted but I still have skipping problems. Do you think that, if it is the program problem, the patches would work?

lol, trust me the speed in SM is one of the most love up things ever. Stick to NL.
Boulder Dash was the only good roller coaster.

I think the "wobble" he is referring to is the transfer track ( I guess that's what it's called). It's supposed to do that on duel stations, there just aren't that many coasters that have it. It's like a transfer section on railway tracks. Look at Vekoma dual station flyers like Firehawk at KI or Batwing at SFAM. That section of track literally rotates to funnel the separate sections of station track to the same lift hill, and separate the trains to each side at the end as in the picture below. It rotates constantly in edit mode, I guess to show the nature of the section. When you ride your coaster that section will only rotate to dispatch the appropriate train to the rest of the course.

Image

Look directly beneath the first car. You'll notice that there is a section of track that is upside-down. When it flips it will line up to the section of track to the LEFT of the riders to guide the train to the LEFT side of the station as opposed to the right where it's headed now. Other than that I have no idea what you could be talking about lol.

Hope this helps =^_^=

Also the speed changes could be due to lag. SM lags quite a bit more than NL

I have issues with it sometimes... The illusion of speed is kinda different than in NL. To me rides seem much faster in NL than they do in Sm. Like 40 in SM seems like 65 in NL. I think that's due to detail quality though....

You may need to enable vsync to cap the framerate at 60fps. It's likely that higher framerates results in off-time behavior which is the case for many 3D applications. Keep your speed reset to the normal setting (press enter) and enable vsync.

I bought hyper rails but it doesn't work with my computer sadly. I've always wanted to try it out but it never worked! Waste of 5 dollars!

You probably need to adjust Windows to get it to work; run as admin, turn off UAC, set to a non-Aero Windows scheme, etc. The installer may not work on x64 systems so if you can install it on an older system you can copy the program files to the new system, then put the CD in (or use Daemon tools and run an image) and it should work.

I'd bet that almost no one has Hyper Rails anymore anyway, so whatever you build will have to be Youtubed to be presented to enough people.

And I still can't get the wire frame track to show in the build mode, only the nodes show. But I can run the sim and the track is there. Really weird, so I never really got to try out SM.
