Are 3ds objects allowed outside the outer borders?

yes, but if they are, they cannot come into the border/allowed to build coaster region.

??

...so that means you can put in an object either completely IN or OUTside the borders but no objects that extend on both sides of the border?

I ask because I want to have a concrete ground but not all over the area, just in the area around where the coaster is built. So it will extend on both sides.

If this is not allowed, so be it, I'll still build it. And if this is making my coaster lose against GFA's entry, so be it as well....

I've got a good layout now, but I'm having trouble getting the lateral G's below 1. Also, there is a tree in the inner ring that is dangling into the outer, and it is really annoying me with building the end of the ride. [:(]

I have a question... can our supports go over the edge of the template as long as they don't touch the outside? If no, then I have alot of work to do to get them to fit... [:(]

Now I understand why I don't like corkscrew coasters that much[:(] ohh well. I know I can build better than what I have. But its too late to redesign my coaster. Oh well.

May the ground under the trees be terraformed? (Would result in them being moved verticaly)

do we attach the screenies from our computer onto the e-mail (cause thats what you do when you upload a coaster) or do we have to link them to the web and then attach them to e-mail

well, I survived the boundaries of building the coaster, got the g's within limits, and I am pretty happy with the product coaster. The Helix will be a corkscrew to remember. How are the rest of you doing?

will we lose points if we have a lot of terraforming? i ask just because it might be considered unrealistic to have a lot, unless you look at it like the terraforming was already there.

I would have done terraforming, but everytime I go into the terraformer the program freezes, and I am never able to move the cursor to the spot that I want to be terraformed. It just stays in the same place the whole time, and then it freezes, so I open the terraformer and it does the same thing over and over again. Oh well, I just won't terraform my coasters[:P]
