The Post Game

Ok, this is a fun game-like thing I saw at another site basically, when someone is approaching an important number of posts, like 100, 500, 1000, or 10,000 (Oscar[:D]), that person will post here. After that, the next person to post, if he has enough points to match the post number, can 'buy' that important post, and 'own' it.

For example:

1. User X has 999 posts.
2. User X posts their 1,000th post in this thread.
3. User Y was the first to respond after User X posted his 1,000th post.
4. Because it is User X's 1,000th post, User Y must now give 1,000 points to User X.
5. User Y can now say that he 'owns' User X's 1,000 post.
6. This fact can be posted anywhere one chooses.

I think the game sounds extremely pointless, and would probably run slowly. I mean, it's not every single day that someone gets to an important number of posts.
