oh .. it's realistic .. possibly unreasonable .. but really really real ..
Who knows... It could be smoother than Hypersonic!

You have a gap in the support spine in the second picture.

If it was a prefabbed intamin ... but in that case, it's virtually steel anyways, just with wooden supports.

That looks really cool. The question is: can it be built?
^On NoLimits [:D]. In real life, it would take architectural genius and Intamin prefabricated track.
Anything can be built if you're willing to throw enough money at it.

The element shown could certainly be done, but it could be done much better with a traditional steel track, and therein lies the rub.

^ Exactly, why would this be done? The answer is, it wouldn't, however possible it is.
It couldn't be done with that support structure, unless the supports for the top hat are made out of carbon nanotubes.
it could be done if there was a thick truss support arch, such as on I305.
