When I try to download this video with Youtube downloader http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0WVDvbxJxq0 of a flume ride it wants to save it as a document file instead of a MP4 file. Then my computer can't open it.

Well, let me tell you,

First you save the file on your desktop
Then you go to youtube downloader
Then you click on convert
Then you search the file that you saved on your desktop
Then you chose to witch kind of file you wanna convert
Then you click on OK
Then you chose high quality and set music in the middle
Then you click on OK
And then you wait. [;)]

Edit.:
Ohw and it can take some time to convert. [:)]

I've also downloaded it, but for me it works well.
If you give your email address I can send it to you.
But it's not such good quality.

@cool5: Get a codex that allows your computer to play the mp4 files. Google should work perfectly fine for that. [:)]

And since this isn't a themepark discussion, i'm moving this to offtopic.

You may have to simply rename the file to add the extension after DLing it. I use a Greasemonkey script for Firefox and it handles the DL's just fine. (Scripts are also available for DLing Facebook videos and what not.)
