I dont know about you, but Im getting really tired of everbody saying "TURN ON 1.6 FRICTION!" or "DONT FORGET TO USE 1.6 FRICTION"... Guys, it is emplanted into each tracks individual settings whether it is used or not. You dont need to go freaking at people to turn it on or something.

And if the reason you are saying is to basically say "If you still have 1.55 dont even THINK about rating this!", Then you need to chill out. I'm sure almost everyone is rating tracks out there has upgraded to 1.6 by now, its been almost a year.

OK, SFMM has had a bad batch of froot-loops this morning. [lol]
Sometimes the best thing to say is nothing at all.

Well once again, I guess its okay if the reason is to keep 1.55 people understanding. But EElover clearly is being stupid, and thinks you need to turn it 'ON' for this specific track. He makes sure to say it twice, and the second time in size 3,000 font.

No one rates his coaster so why does it matter?

But yeah, people on CS have told me they can't rate tempest because they dont have 1.6.

I agree with what SFMM said, is is getting a bit old. But I don't think it is so bad if people just say *uses 1.6 friction* and leave it at that...

Practice... practice... practice...

We'll say I do NL for about 2 hours average per day, because some days I work up to 8 hours if im bored, and some days I dont work of course. Time 3 years is over 2,000 hours of just hand building... thats what it takes man...

^But if your practice is only what you know youll only get better at the level you are currently at.

Practice is only beneficial when you are practicing with or against someone whos better than you. Giving you advice, constructive critism and help.

i havent updated to 1.6
henceforth i havent rated anything much since then. i WANT 1.6. but the little numbers on the back of my visa card wore off and it wont let me.
i might download some rides, but i wont rate them if i'm missing something.
i have to agree though, the ****** USES 1.6 FRICTION ******** thing does get annoying.

Would everyone just get over that? That was like a year ago. You think I still do that?

Excellent thread. I fully agree with this. There's absolutely no need to mention it since the friction "version" is saved with the trackfile, as you mentioned.

And to whoever has not updated to 1.6 yet, please do not rate tracks.

every body may rate as long as the peeps with 1.55 remember that if a track does not work properly it could be because it was made with 1.6

Yeah if you can't update to 1.6 then you're not alowed to rate tracks. Great idea intaminfan! Just forbid people from an important part of the website because they can't pay the money for it!

Maybe we should start allowing screenshot rates then, because there are people who can't afford NoLimits!

If someone doesn't have 1.6, then they aren't viewing the tracks properly, and as a result do not know what it is they are actually rating.
