adding own music to fireworks display

Can anyone tell me how to add my own music to a fireworks display or laser show etc. in the Mixmaster insted of the default game music. I have tried adding mp3 files to the rct music file in My Documents and the Music file in the default installation location of rct3, but it's not showin when I access the fireworks editor in the game. Please help. Thanks.

in the options screen there is a check boxwith something like"use music from my music folder" or something like that, did you check that??
