AT trip

hey all, I guess this question goes out mainly to the UK members of the site.

I would like very much, to organise a meet at Alton Towers in October of this year. I know thats a long way off and I don't intend to begin organising it yet. What I would like to know however, is exactly how many people and exactly who would be interested in going. I am going to Alton Towers in October anyway (I'm going before then too, but October is the best time to go) and basically I'm just wondering if anyone would be interested in tagging along.

Obviously I will post again closer to October and we can hopefully organise something then, but the question for now is: Are you interested? If you are, post here [:)]

i'm always interested into a group trip. I'm your neighborg so only the ferry and cross half UK to get there. No problem. But i can tell you, everyone will meet my mom too

Well, it seems that there is certainly plenty of intrest which is good, and realityrider, if you were able to get us some kind of discount that would be amazing [:)]

I think it would be really good if we could make a video of the event so we'd need someone to go who had the right equipment and the 'skillz' hehe, if anyone wants to volunteer for that.

hehe, well sorry can't afford that, they're a bit steep. But I do think it would be a good idea if there was a meet at an American park this year aswell, because then we would have a sort of snap shot of a lot of the people on the site at this moment in time if you see what I mean, something we could all look back on in the future and say "ahhhhhhhhhh I remember him! etc etc..."

Well yeah anyway, we can sort out all the stuff like transport, meeting time + place, etc etc ... closer to the actual date which I hope will be October.

Ahh tahts well unfair. I had to drag me mum and me sisiter on Oblivion. My mum nearly cried the first time and she has been on it like 10 times now, but still refuses to go on it, until i drag her on. lol. Her fave is air. My faves nemmy!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah, anyway, Gouldy i would be interested too! Although i dont know how i would get there, and im not to sure if i would be able to, but then again its a while away and my sister will be able to drive by then (hopefully, she taking her test soon) So i could get a lift down with her and her boyfriend! Im not sure. I will have to sort it out nearer to the date. Although it is definately a good idea to do it october as its halloween and we will get all the rides in the dark. I must admit, IMO oblivion is the greatest in the dark!!!!!!!! Its as good as nemmy in normal light. Many peoiple dont ride oblivion in the dark so it has short queues, last year i rode it 3 times in the dark, with just the 6 little red lights round the hole, and nothing else. Its really amazing!

Yeah, anyway, i will shut up now!

Ut-uh, its not, its taken after the drop, after the corner and just before the end brakes ... you know the bit behind enterprise ... well yeah, its there [;)]

And the first picture is taken after the brakes have been released about half way donw the drop. You get some great expresions there[;)]

no, I just said the 2nd snap is AFTER the corner and before the brakes.

1st photopoint - takes a photo the second the brakes release you for the drop.

2nd flashpoint - takes a photo after the corner, just before you pull up into the end brakes.
