Birmingham Amusement Tower

An 'Amusement Tower' is being proposed for central Birmingham (England)
The 175m [574ft] tower would have numerous intamin rides including an 8 seat giant drop, forty flight trainer capsules that move around the rim of the obligatory observation deck, a freefall parachute drop ride, Gyro tower above the observation deck and an 8 seat bungee drop ride. Also (guess what?) a high level seesaw thing as well.

Planning permission will be applied for in May

I can't help but doubt this ever seeing the light of day, but it would brighten up my train journeys to uni in Bristol!

about time, there has been a proposal for an amusement tower or building for years and its nice to see it finally coming together, they had better pass it.

Hmmm wish it was in Notts or somewhere [:(] But still great news. I really hope this gets planning permission!
