Hello All,
This may seem like a completely stupid question, but what is the easiest way to build sideways?

Thanks

just build. then from top view select where your vertex will end at, X,Y coordinate wise. in side view edit the Z coordinate of the vertex.

Editing the radius of turns and some elements is easier to do from the top view. Editing the radius of the hills and loops is easier to do from the side view. 3D view is for viewing the structure without enabling the simulator

You could build your section straight, then highlight it all, save it as an element, then change the first node to point in the direction you want the track, then insert the element you just saved
