I'm pretty sure accidentally having 5 G's is good pacing.

I could make a out and back Miesho jet coaster. Please put it on the list of coaster types to make for the contest.

I'll give it a shot, and likely fail.

Also, I think CCI needs to be seperated from GG...CCIs are much smaller than a Voyage-type ride so the records for the CCI should have to beat the other CCIs, not GGs.

Agreed, would you give this some consideration? I'm not a fan of my turnaround being 130' tall just because I had to hit 68mph. One of CCI's records would be easier to go after.

You do know that me making a separate CCI category would only reduce the record speed by 1 mph, right? "The Boss" has a 150 ft drop and hits 66 mph.

Yes, but it's only 120' tall because it uses the side of the hill. The style of progression on CCI rides is completely different too, making it easier to hit one of the records than using Gravity Group standards.

Okay. Just making sure. Also, fair warning, the difficulty ratings for height and length on a separate CCI category would be lower than on a CCI/GG combined one, since the tallest and longest CCI coaster in the world, Shivering Timbers, cost only $6 million. Drop and speed would stay at 0, but height would fall to -1, and length would fall to 1.

As long as I can find a definitive height/speed record and at least one coaster to base a budget score off of, yes. But before I answer that question fully, I still have to go searching to determine what the height and speed records for that coaster type are, what they cost to build, and what the difficulty ratings should be.

Okay, the answer is no. I just searched every coaster that Miesho has ever made, and failed to find a definitive height or speed record because almost every coaster of theirs had all but 1 or 2 obscure stats missing. I got height, speed, and length data for like 5 out of the 50+ jet coasters in Japan, and therefore I don't think I can say with enough confidence what the record height or speed are. And what's more, I could not find a single statistic on budget. So no, no jet coasters. If I were you, I'd use the planned layout for the jet coaster and turn it into a Schwarzkopf steel coaster. He has made nonlooping coasters that are at least somewhat similar.

And BTW, everyone, here are the coaster types that are going to be added tonight. If anyone has any more suggestions, you have one more day to make them before the coaster/record list is finalized.

-Vekoma SLC
-Flying Coaster
-Arrow/Vekoma Megalooper
-Schwarzkopf Steel Looping
-Curtis Summers / RCCA Wood Megacoaster
-B&M Steel Twister
-CCI Wood Coaster

So if I am making a GCI that breaks the speed and length record...I get 1 bonus point total?

^Yep. Like I said, it's all about risk/reward. It's almost impossible to build a GCI that's over $14 million, even one that breaks all three world records, so there's basically no risk associated with building that coaster type, and therefore little reward.

Now you're getting into technical and originality... that is where I judge how accurate a coaster is to its manufacturer. And no worries, I will indeed factor in effort when judging it. I can spot a cheap job versus one where the person really tried to go the extra mile.

No. I would have said yes if it weren't for the megalooper class, but in this case I have to draw a clear line in order to avoid confusion. Therefore, for this contest, once an Arrow goes upside-down, it will become an Arrow megalooper rather than a hypercoaster.

Ok. Right now I have a proper Arrow lay-out, I think. Does it matter if it's Arrow-ish? Because now I have a smooth ride with normal heartline and magnetic brakes. It's kinda the modern-day Arrow. Is that ok?
And how do I calculate the riders per hour? I have 3 trains of 7 cars now.
