[lol] What makes you think that this happened in America? There's a couple of clues that it happened elsewhere. For starters, we rarely refer to amounts of liquids in liters, preferring to use quarts or gallons. Secondly, nowhere in America do we have petrol stations. Instead, we have gas stations (or to be more up to date, convenience stores). My guess is that this happened in the UK. [:P]

I will admit though that this sounds all too familiar. I used to manage a convenience store after getting out of high school, and I heartily agree that customers do indeed suck! [lol]

I agree that customers suck as well, I manage a liquor store. Literally run the whole place now after the other foo "disappeared" since Thursday, I cashier, stock, do the accounting, call up the beer trucks etc and I HATE dealing with the people. You should see how people react when you short them 5 cents and you should see when they want you to let them slide with 50 cents, worst of all you should see how mad they get at me when they ask me to let them pay later and then I remind them that they told me that yesterday and ask them to pay up. It's like I'm asking to get lynched, fortunately I have a very strong character so they end up paying or leaving scared as hell [:D] I think I'll be visiting that site more often now that I know it exists [lol]
and yeah, I doubt it was in america, we don't use liters for anything but liter and 2 liter sodas, everything else is in quarts pints etc and no petrol stations around here, just gasoline.
