so if I donated $35 dollars through paypal, then u would only get $17.50, and that would not qualify me for being a possible VIP, would it?

no, not at all. Its not 1/2. I was making a joke becuase paypal takes off like $2 or something small like that. i think that if the intended payment is 35 and it comes to like 33.50 then it still counts.
