I guess the dragons are being challenged, and losing badly.

Alas, there she goes... The first truly defunct B&M.
Ok but how desperate you have to be to voluntarily fly from another country to go to Thorpe?

I shout "NO more destruction photos of a decent B&M!" Oh please do not get us down!

So neither of them are getting saved? What a waste... Straight up awful treatment of these coasters.

Did we ever really expect that they would be relocated?

I was just a tiny bit hopeful  But Universal is like an impatient child at a toy store. They'd never spend time waiting for a sale, they're like "get it the f^%$ out and give me that new new.

^ I kinda hope a park incorporates the destroyed track to theme a new ride. Imagine how cool an apocalypse theme would be if it looked like the track itself was falling apart!

Always a shame to see a coaster being fully demolished.

Universal itself incorporated some Hulk scraps into the entrance of the new one. Maybe they won't fully leave the dragons behind like an old shoe *imagines a decent world.*

In any case, it's weird to see the track lying in a heap like that. It's weird to see the once busy footprint becoming empty in ^ Paradox's photo. I wouldn't be discouraged by these sights if I thought that Universal would replace them with a world-class coaster, which should, and could happen. But I don't think it will happen.

^ I kind of want them to reuse those large inversions - just my small wish, though.

Obviously it would only take a small fraction of the space, but I think a VR quiditch attraction would be amazing.
What are these for?
