A few of my favorites right now:

and of course

There are way too many other songs I could post here but won't because no one's going to watch these ones anyway...

It's hard to pick one song... I like to listen to the entire album.

Opeth has been posted, but I like this song so much more. Either this or The Ghost of Perdition are my favorite Opeth songs.

Animals as Leaders are just amazing. No vocals, just pure musicianship.

Local band trying to make their way. Absolutely sick metal. Couldn't decide between Forest: Atrocities or this, so look up the other too!

And last but definitely not least, Adagio for Strings by Samuel Barber. Absolutely one of the most compelling and moving pieces ever.

Thumbs up on imamorata from AAL iron man, amazing band. Tosin Abasi is a love tank on that guitar. so many messed up measures and displacements and poly rhythms.

I still can't get into the mindless shredding in Animals as Leaders but the rest of the songwriting is actually pretty solid, definitely a band on my list of stuff to keep an eye on in the future.

Might as well add another on here:

not necessarily a long song, but epic nonetheless.

Currently my favourite song:

However probably the first hardstyle song I listened to should get a mention:

Final Fantasy VII: One Winged Angel (Sephiroth Theme). A lot of awesome memories.

Rammstein: Rammlied. All of the videos of songs from the new Rammstein album on youtube have really awful sound quality for some reason, this is the best quality I could find:

Rammstein: Ich Tu Dir Weh. Again, same as above with regards to the quality, it's properly fudged up:

Rammstein: Sonne. This was the theme tune to my teenage years.

By now, you probably guessed that I like Rammstein, huh?

Arch Enemy: Nemesis. Another song that has been a theme tune of my life in recent years, and my coaster Doomsday Machine was named after this album:

gouldy, do you listen to Carcass at all? I could never really get into Arch Enemy but the Michael Amott era Carcass stuff is amazing, two of my favorite albums out there.

I have listened to Carcass, Michael Amott is full on awesome [^] I still prefer the more melodic Arch Enemy stuff though, but Carcass is sweet.

Boulder Dash was the only good roller coaster.

Anything from Sir Lucious Left Foot: The Son of Chico Dusty

Big Boi is a murderer. And I love Janelle and Radric so I was thrilled to see some collaboration =)

Every beat he has is refreshingly killer. But I have a feeling no one else will agree with this post, lol.
